Your guide through time: Caroline Siegert
Caroline is a paleobotanist and Postdoctoral Scholar at the Field Museum of Natural History. Her research focuses on fossil fruits, flowers, and seeds from various places around the world during the Eocene. She got the idea for Fossil Fridays when she noticed the lack of public communication of the fossil record, other than dinosaurs. She wants to paint a picture of what it would have been like to visit these sites when the fossils were first deposited. Caroline got her PhD at Cornell University in 2025.
