Your guide through time: Caroline Siegert

Caroline is a paleobotanist and PhD student at Cornell University in the Gandolfo lab. Her research focuses on fossil fruits and flowers of Laguna del Hunco in Patagonia, Argentina. She got the idea for Fossil Fridays when she noticed the lack of public communication of the fossil record other than dinosaurs. She wants to paint a picture of what it would have been like to visit these sites when the fossils were first deposited.
